OSAKA EXPO 2025: HAPPINESS DAY OF FINLAND

Finland's National Day, the Happiness Day of Finland, at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka brought together Finnish culture, music, sustainable fashion, and networking into a single day of events. The objective was to strengthen Finland's positive image in Japan and foster future business cooperation.

The event successfully integrated happiness and creativity with other themes, attracting a record audience and extensive media attention. The program included the official Expo ceremony, a sustainable fashion seminar, appearances by Santa Claus and the Moomins, a sauna experience, a digital Finland postcard, VIP guests, guided tours, and the Party Like a Finn rock and fashion show.

The headline performers of the day were Tuuletar and Käärijä, and numerous Finnish brands also contributed to bringing the day to life. The invited guests included a delegation led by the president of Finland Alexander Stubb, along with other high-level guests from both Japan and Finland. When organizing the event, it was also a key priority to engage the wider Expo audience.

Finland Day generated exceptional visibility and received positive feedback. It also fostered engagement, strengthened Finland's cultural appeal, and supported long-term business and diplomatic relations in Japan.
